Participatory Design offers communication tools that allow for user-driven conversations and facilitate the community’s leadership of the design process in an urban architectural project. The process begins with reflection exercises that encourage the community’s engagement and motivates its deeper interest. Then, design evolves simultaneously with questions and thoughts from the community, which finally reviews the outcome of collective-design in order to approve it.
