When books fill walls, bookshelves can take a new form and animate a space.
Rand El Haj Hasan believes in bespoke design and the necessity to cater to both personal needs and personal desires. The form is a drawing making way around and in-between existent elements in the wall. The drawing extrudes from the wall and the library floats in atypical forms. Reading collections are no longer a matter of academically labeled stacks, but rather sets curved according to personal projects, likings, and passions.
